John Sievers is a Managing Director for Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions. In this role, he leads The Alts Institute, focusing on investor and advisor advocacy, and enhancing client engagement. Previously, he served as Head of U.S. Sales.
Prior to joining Oaktree in 2015, Mr. Sievers served in a variety of business development and management roles for Citi Alternative Investment businesses, including Asia Pacific Head of Citi Global Wealth Management Alternative Investments and as managing director for Citi Capital Advisors’ institutional business. Mr. Sievers began his career as a research analyst in Salomon Smith Barney’s consulting group, working with its global investment strategy and asset allocation committees.
Mr. Sievers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adelphi University, as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
