Karen Khalil

Ms. Khalil is a Managing Director and Head of Canada for Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions. In this role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with wealth intermediaries across Canada.

Before joining Brookfield in 2020, Ms. Khalil was Head of Retail Distribution for BlackRock's indexing business, iShares Canada, where she was responsible for shaping the firm's wealth management strategy. Previously, Ms. Khalil spent several years at Vanguard Investments Canada. She was Head of Institutional Sales for the firm's retirement business and led the firm's National Accounts wealth management team. Throughout her career, Ms. Khalil has held similar roles with other firms, including UBS Global Asset Management Canada, HSBC Global Asset Management, and Invesco.

Ms. Khalil attended McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and then a Master of Business Administration through the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University.
